Church Planting Stewardship (CPS)

CPS is a tool for managing church planting projects. It marries the best practices of contemporary project management with a six-phase church planting process. The main purpose of CPS is to provide an actionable process for planting churches and objective means for assessing the progress of a church planting project. An objective assessment in each phase of a church planting project provides opportunties to identify and correct issues early in the process and to make objective decisions to continue, rework, or terminate a project in order to be faithful stewards of limited church planting resources. The six phases of a church planting process are: 1. Concept 2. Feasibility 3. Planning 4. Start Up 5. Formation 6. Transition
